In 2005 there was something missing from the accounting scene in Richmond, Virginia. There were large firms and small firms. There were firms that specialized in corporate accounting. There were firms that specialized in tax accounting, and there were firms that could do both. And there were very large firms that could handle personal and corporate tax services as well as general accounting.

What was missing was the medium-sized firm with significant corporate, tax and personal accounting experience; a firm that could take care of the tax and accounting consulting, but also focused on helping business and individuals grow their assets.
